I have been up since 2:30 this morning with painful contractions. Unfortunately they are not close enough to be taken seriously and my water still hasn’t broken, so I’m stuck at home in pain until the little one decides its time for her to come out. My back hurts sooo bad ): Going back to Virginia tomorrow, I can’t wait to lay on the beach. It’s supposed to be so nice out, perfect beach weather. It’ll just be me and my mom for two weeks, a nice little Mother’s Day vacation :) My bump is getting so big, I look so funny in a bikini, but that’s not stopping me! The past few weeks haven’t been so bad for the third trimester, but all of the sudden it was like BAM! I can’t sleep in any comfortable position, my fingers started swelling, and my stomach has not been feeling well. I’m just trying to figure out why the sudden change, I swear it was like overnight everything changed. Oh the joys of pregnancy So I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday that went pretty well, I told him about my back pain and he’s making me pee in a cup in a few days so they can check to see if it’s kidney problems, though he says he doubts it. My doctor was very…awkward. I don’t know, something about him just seemed out of place. I thought maybe it was just my hormones giving me mixed emotions about him, but my mom saw it too. Either way, I’m glad I have a different doctor next time, and the BAM I’ll be back in Virginia. I never thought I would miss that tiny apartment so much, but I do. It’s where I belong, with my baby and my husband, at least for now, until our lovely home gets built in N.D.. Dylan has been talking about our house so much, I know he just can’t wait until we move out there into a house of our own. He misses his family so much too and it will be so nice to be right there, no 6 hour drives just to spend a few days with family, even though I will miss them lots. Just 4 1/2 weeks until I get to hold him again, every day away feels like a lifetime. I really wish I was actually able to do things like yard work to help pass time. « older posts |
